TRAVEL INSURANCE

When selecting this  insurance you must first decide if you wish a SINGLE TRIP policy  or if you are making more than one trip a year (including short breaks) an ANNUAL POLICY will probably be more cost effective.

Your next decision is based on where you may be traveling to - is it EUROPE ONLY or   WORLDWIDE.

With these facts established you can then research various websites and other sources to select the best terms to suit your individual needs.

Shop around as the competition is fierce and prices vary. When comparing prices also examine the conditions attached.

  • THINK ABOUT the following  -

If you are covered under your Household Policy for personal items outside the home - do you also need baggage cover?

If you are not anticipating traveling to the USA some companies give reductions.

Do you have on-going cover when you reach 60/65/70 etc? what increases in premiums are likely?

Declare any existing medical conditions or  the policy could be void if you make subsequent claims relating to that condition.
